Five-petal bright yellow flowers with crawling stems and spreading leaves

    I suspect that this is wild species because I don't remember planting it. The nicely shaped leaves just spread abundantly to cover the ground with the help of their branching stems. Please help in identifying, thanks!

    It is a Buttercup, Ranunculus sp. Difficult to get rid of.
