The tomato is Manitoba an relatively new early variety. Fruits are about palm size and have a good flavour. Most field grown tomatoes have marks on the fruit. This is in direct contrast to the perfect forms one sees in supermarkets, but the flavour is much more agreeable on vine ripened tomatoes. Durgan.
