Hello, Its great to find this wonderful forum, I've just started helping my wife with gardening. And please accept my apologies if I am posting in the wrong forum. My wife and I had visited a lot of plant nurseries but unable to find a nursery that is selling a salvia guaranitica (black and blue). I've also googled all the nurseries here in lower mainland but still no luck. And it did not helped that I missed last week's plant sale at the UBC botanical garden. I'd really appreciate if somebody here can point me to the right nursery, or if they have a few Salvia guaranitica plants that they are willing to sell to me (please pm me). Thanks so much :) Juvethski
Nobody said anything about them coming in later in the season? It has been on the garden center market down here during past years, do you know of it having been circulated up there before? Otherwise, maybe it actually isn't present in BC. Have you been talking to the buyers at the outlets you've tried, or just clerks etc.? As in other retailing typically the people "on the floor" aren't kept informed - if a buyer is not contacted in response to your request you may not have established that the plant is not going to appear at that store later at all.
Hi Ron, All of them currently dont have it, but some said to check again a month after as they receive more plants. Thanks.
Thanks woodschmoe and Junglekeeper. I will be in Victoria later this summer, but I was hoping to plant a few now rather than waiting. Thanks for the link, I'll check if some of the local nursery here would order it for me.
