I just noticed these in my mom's yard...they are pink, with green slime rings around them. I tried doing some searches online and couldn't really find much. They look like they stand erect and then fall; once they fall they seem to deflate, or disingrate, like those bio-degradable packaging peanuts. Any suggestions as to what these are / what to do with them?

Those are Stinkhorns. Not sure of the species, but I suggest Mutinus for the genus.
