I'm on a search for Canadian sources of galanthus other than g. elwesii and g. nivalis. This may be the impossible dream but hoping that some advice or suggestions might be lurking out there.
Yes, it could be a challenge, as it very often is when looking for Canadian sources of less common plants. As for suggestions, I would check with the Greater Toronto Bulb Society http://www.gardenontario.org/site.php/gtbs, it is in your area, so the easiest to get in touch with. You could also contact the Pacific Bulb Society http://www.pacificbulbsociety.org/, to see if they could help you locate a Canadian source, or tell you if there is a possibility to participate in their bulb exchange. Carolyn’s Shade Gardens http://carolynsshadegardens.com/2015-snowdrop-catalogue/, unfortunately not in Canada, but can be a good source of Snowdrop information. My be they could also ship bulbs to Canada?
Thanks for your suggestions, appreciate your help. Carolyn's Shade Gardens doesn't ship to Canada which is too bad.
