    Hi
Does anyone know where I can find a Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum) in Burnaby or the Lower Mainland? I have found some websites that sell Peace Lilies but are very expensive ($40-$70). I live in Burnaby and I'm hoping to find maybe seeds, seedlings, cuttings or potted plant from a reasonably nearby store/nursery/person. If anyone has a cutting or seeds I would also be willing to pay and pickup.

    thanks

Hmm, I know that I've seen them from time to time at Ikea up in Edmonton hopefully they'll be in at Ikea in your neck of the woods too. The only problem though is that you'd have to snag them really really quickly as they seem to be (at least in my experience) poorly cared for.

Maybe someone like Junglekeeper or the others from the Vancouver area can be of more help to you? I hope so.

    Good luck!

I would also check with the florists at the local supermarket (Safeway, SaveOn, Superstore, etc...) Ask them if they will be bringing them in. They all carry them in their department once or twice a year... for about $13 (approx.)
    Good Luck!

You shouldn't have much problem finding one. Perhaps you're looking for one of a particular size? In Burnaby I'd try Home Depot and GardenWorks on Lougheed or the one at Mandeville. Also check out the local supermarkets as whiterock_patio suggested; smaller specimens can usually be found there.
