Fight ignorance of lilies and daylilies

    If anyone can shed some light on how I can further identify these lilies and daylilies, other than simply by color, this, too, would be appreciated.

    Lily possibly commonly offered 'Stargazer', if not that another Asiatic. Like hostas and irises, daylilies number in the thousands - probably even if there are some known ones that look just like these they could still be different cultivars.

    Thanks. I actually wondered if the lily was a Stargazer, one of the few whose names I know. And now I know I won't sound as ignorant as I am if I call a flower something like "orange daylily."
