I have a fig tree that is potted in a 20"diameter ceramic pot. It gave fruit for the first 2 years, but now I can't seem to get it to produce fruit. I have fertilized it in the spring and kept it watered all winter long. It is in front of east window. It is too heavy to take in and out of the house , so I would just like to keep it where it is. Can anyone help me out.

Think about what is different now, from what happened or was done the first two years. That might be it.

Do figs require insects to pollinate them? If so being inside might present a problem unless you hand pollinate.

Your fig is not happy for sure. It most likely rootbound. It also may not have had it's dormant period. Most figs only produce on new growth. Pruning it in spring may help. Don't water during winter too much they do need a dormancy period, and don't over fertilize either.
