I live in North Florida very close to the beach. I have a fig tree that produced wonderful figs for about 3 years. Last year there were lots of figs that never got larger than a large grape and did not ripen. I trimmed the tree in the fall (like I have always done) and this year the same thing seems to be happening. Help!
Your case seems to be very particular but someone told me that in Florida figs tend to have root-knot nematodes on the roots. You could dig a bit to see how the roots look… Otherwise, for more fig expert advice I recommend you pay a visit to figs4fun.com There are a few top notch fig expert lurking around in the forum
