I was recently given as a gift, a Fig Tree for indoors that is approximately 3 feet tall. We transplanted it into a 5 gallon pot as we were told to do by the nursery and it was looking great for about 4 days....
now however, the leaves, both older large ones and small new leaves are turning
black around the edges. Also, one of the leaves is developing small holes in the leaf. One of our Meyer Lemon trees had aphids, could they now be causing this problem on the fig tree? I do not see any aphids, only the holes and leaf discoloration. Can anyone please advise me on what I should do. We live
on the water in Victoria, British Columbia.
    Thanks for any advise.

Something like too cold and wet. If this is a Benjamin fig these can be quite touchy about changes in environment.

Thank you. I will try moving it to another location in the house. It is presently sitting
near a window which is sometimes open a bit.
