I have two Fig trees that were given to me and the have started to sprout leaves .
They are in my basement workshop which gets very little natural light . Should I move them to a warmer area with good sunlight and start to water them or leave them in the dark location ? The leaves that have sprouted are yellow .

Yes, move them upstairs to a bright but not full sun spot. Given time you can move them to a sunny window. NOT TOO MUCH WATER ! Figs can rot if kept too wet. I 've got six in my sun room that were cuttings 2 months ago and they are growing like gangbusters. Go easy on the fertilizer too.
    They don't require much. : )
