   I live on the Gold Coast Australia, where winters are warm and summer is unbearable.. and need some advice. My treasure of a fig tree, which is only 18months old needs some care apart from the watering. When do I prune it?? I need to keep it low.

   Prune it after it drops its leaves in fall/winter. Give the cuttings to friends to root : )
