I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the fifth annual spring maple viewing being held at my home at the New Jersey shore on Saturday May 19, 2007. Spring is a spectacular time to view the cultivars and to talk about our experiences with maples. I have been growing Japanese Maples in my gardens for the last 17 years and have approximately 175 cultivars with over 300 maples planted in my gardens on just over two acres. I was fortunate enough to have known Richard Wolff and have some of his lesser known cultivars in my gardens as well as his more popular trees. Continental breakfast, presentations, lunch and a silent plant auction will be provided.

The spring maple viewing is free of charge and open to Maple Society members and non-members. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the North American Branch, Maple Society. Attendance is limited to 25 people on a first come basis. My garden and home is located in central coastal New Jersey, about one hour from NYC, Philadelphia and Atlantic City and easily accessible from major highways. Please respond via email or private message to reserve a spot or contact me with any questions or for directions. The attached pictures show some of the gardens.

    Whis4ey,

Unfortunately my budget can not cover air fares but you are welcome to stop by if you ever visit in the NY city area. I am hoping to visit some gardens in the UK, France and Holland in the next year.

    Ashizuru,

Thank you for the compliment. For me it is my health club. I get physical exercise working building and maintaining the gardens and peace of mind enjoying what nature has let me create.
