Hello all! Brand new member here :) I was wondering if anyone could help me identify the variety of ficus I have. Here's 2 pictures of it as attachments. I'm wondering how to take cuttings of it once it is identified. Thank you :)
I looked up images of ficus benjamina and the leaf structure looks right but the way the ficus benjamina grows with its branching does not correlate with mine. Are there variations within gje ficus benjamina that would be like the branch structuring of my tree (you can see the whole ficus in my photo)?
Yes, there are many different types of F. benjamina. They range from tiny-leaved dwarfs for indoor bonsai to variegated-leaf trees. Some have slightly twisted leaves. Yours looks like a regular F. benjamina to me. Two of the same types can look different according to the growing conditions, too.
