This fern like plant photo was taken 07-17-13 on Mount Magazine Mountain in Logan County, Arkansas, USA. Elevation approx. 2,700 ft. The leaflets and stems and configuration looks similar to Mimosa pudica plants. It was growing close to a trail in heavy woods. Can't seem to ID it as a fern. Thanks!!

Yep, not a fern! But on the right general lines with Mimosa, it is something in the pea family Fabaceae.
