fern ID

    I'm sure this is an easy one to identify. There's only one in my garden amongst some other more robust woodland ferns. I'm also looking for some different fern varieties that will be happy in zone 8 - any ideas?

    I know this thread is old as Methuselah, but.....

    This looks like it may be Pteris Tripartita. If it dies off every year, and takes over the yard eventually, you'll know. You probably don't have to worry about it to much in your zone, but it is absolutely tough as nail, virulent, and can get just massive.
