I have 3 Pittosporum (in az called Mock Orange)plants in pots. What is the best kind of fertilizer for them? Are they acid loving plants? Or do they prefer the typical Miracle Grow type fertilizer?
General fertilizer should be fine. The ones we have here are just put in with a bit of bone meal or general fertiliser. Used for hedges a lot. http://ag.arizona.edu/pima/gardening/aridplants/Pittosporum_tobria.html http://www.floridata.com/ref/P/pitt.cfm http://www.britannica.com/eb/topic-597786/tobira Liz
Look at an independent garden center for a controlled release product made for use on container plants.
