We'd like some help in identifying this plant/weed. These grow very fast....like at least 4 feet in a month.

We're trying to clear out the weeds in our front yard area....garden area by the house...and these are there among other types of weeds too.

    Can anyone identify this?

The pictures are on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/maneor/. I hope you can access and see the pics.

    Thanks!

possibly wild lettuce or evening primrose.
Difficult to tell, do you have any pics of the top?
It should bloom directly, and then we could tell...

    Edit:
That root doesn't look like evening primrose... I still think wild lettuce.

The leaves look auriculate. The overall view, glaucous leaves and reddish stem remind me Isatis tinctoria.
