I'm wondering which trees to plant for my property in Lillooet on the Fraser River. A very hot sunny area which only gets about 12-15 in. of rain a yr. However I now have a well producing 30gpm. which I plan on hooking up to a drip irrigation system. Currently the property is covered in Sage and Ponderosa Pine which I will be cutting down this winter as they are being hit by the Pine Beetle now. I know Willows flourish in the area as long as you give them lots of water so I will be planting them and Trembling Aspens too but I would like to know what other trees anyone would recommend for the area thanks.
