Is anyone else noticing Camas emerging in November? I have many camas bulbs in the ground and in pots which I planted these past 2 years but, despite my best efforts, there is some contamination with Spanish bluebells. I'm seeing new growth with quite a bit of leaf developing, which makes me suspect it is spanish blue bell. I thought I had developed an eye for the stiffer, greyer, striated inner leaf surface of the Camas, which this new growth resembles, but I'm suspicious. I am new to growing Camas, but not new to Spanish Bluebell, which has a habit of coming out during cooler temps. Thanks.

The Hyacinthoides looks more like a hyacinth than the camas in all respects.

Thanks Ron. The new folliage is tricky to differentiate, especially when it's in a pot of camas where I was quite sure it was not contaminated. Well, I guess I have to let it grow.
