So, I got hold of seeds of this plant long back assuming it to be aparajita :(
After a long time, planted it in the soil....

Now the plant (climber) has grown up....Its leaves and the whole plant look like aparajita plant (Clitoria ternatea).
But it has small yellow flowers for namesake & they grow into the elongated fruits......which makes me think it is of the fabaceae family.

Its been a year that got the seed from some plant....and i dont remember at all from where did i pluck that fruit :-/

Its been a week, I am trying to ID this plant and its driving me nuts....ughh..

    Any help is appreciated :)

Are the yellow flowers the same shape as the normal blue Aparajita ones? There was an orkut posting from 2010 where the anonymous poster was looking to locate a yellow Aparajita and was told by another anonymous poster that he'd seen only two and thought they were likely a mutation.

@ saltcedar.....No, doesnt look like Centrosema sp.

@wcutler....Nope..Actually the flowers are very different, they are very small & yellow.....and quickly turn into fruits, almost in a couple of days...
....Aparajita flowers are much bigger & take much longer to convert into fruit...

Let me attach some more pics, if it helps :)
