In The Garden: Expert help requested.

    This tree was found in the gardens of Iveraray Castle on the North West coast of Scotland...on 21st May

    I am not sure that I know what it is.
    It was a really old, very large tree and was planted with other trees in a small wood...some trees dating from1880.
    Sadly the tree was dying but still had a few healthy branches.
    Sorry that one pic is out of focus.
    Help requested please.
