Exotic white hair flowers on Texas vine

I've lived in Texas most of my life and I've never seen this vine before. It's covering a large cedar tree near Lake Travis. It's has seed clusters with long white "hairs" that are quite large and fluffly. No odor. No thorns. Small leaves. Does anyone know what this is? I think it's beautiful! There should be a photo attached to this posting. Thanks.

Check out Clematis Drummondii. aka Texas Virgin's Bower/
Old mans beard/ Grandads Beard/ Goats Beard. Going on memory it's been a while since I've been down there.

Note: I was told that you can make a tea from the leaves?
Does anyone Know what the tea was used for ?

I have this growing up here in Union Oregon along a creek it grows very wild here and looks so pretty growing up a tall tree .. it is very evassive here .. and it is a Clematis .. I did collect some seeds of it but didnt plant it as i foound out after how wild it grows .. but just wanted to let u know that it grows up here to ..
