    Thank you Kurt. Its very interesting to see the way other people graft. It looks like they're splitting the rootstock from the top, is that correct?

    It is certainly not splitting. We call it side grafting. You will find more info on www.dvandermaat.com under grafting. One of my todo's is to take photos of the whole grafting in detail. Coming soon.
