Hi All, I wondered if anybody knew of mutations occurring in Euphorbia Tirucalli, as I have checked around and can't find any reference to this. I initially wanted to cut the plant back, but discovered these mutations and wondered if it is possible to propagate them, and if so, what is the best method? Thanx in advance.
I've seen that on my own E. tirucalli; you can cut it out as though pruning, then simply allow it to callus over and plant it, like any other succulent cutting. Be careful of the sap, though.
lorax & saltcedar.... Thanks for the reply. I'll be attempting this now our wet weather has cleared. As for the sap, I know that a split vitamin e oil capsule rubbed on skin blisters will help to heal (this i needed to do even after washing off the sap after contact on skin). I'd also checked out the link on fasciation.....thanks again saltcedar. P.S. on other things 'banana's', lorax have you seen the "Big Banana". Thought it might be of interest.....to check it out go to www.bigbanana.com.
