Euonymous sp?

    Very distinctive Euonymus <tnx Michael> fruits, found on UBC campus near the MacDonald building.

    Any idea what I'm looking at here?

    Euonymus ;-)

    Not sure which species, they look typical of the genus to me.

    Beautiful color, no doubt. Almost fuscia-like, very bright pink aril and a purple funiculus.

    Whoops, I see red funiculus. Not purple as my memory erroneously convinced me.

    Might be a labeled duplicate in the Lam Garden or at Van Dusen.
