A customer brought in a euchairst lily plant that she has had for many years. It has done very well and blooms. Three years ago she thought that it should be repotted and brought it to another grrenhouse to have it done. They put it in cactus soil mix. Since it has been repotted the new growth looks good but has never bloomed in the last three years. There has been some sunken areas appear on the new growth that looks like callouses. We looked at the bulbs and they seem to look very good. Saw no signs of scale or any other insects. Also the it seems the foilage is more yellow grenn than the deep green it should be. I question the type of soil used. I would think that it would not retain the moisture and nutrients. Any ideas??? Debbie

I think it may be the soil, the ones I have grown are usually in pro-mix and kept on the moist side. its probably not getting enough nutrients or moisture from the soil that it is in now.
