I live in Roberts Creek fairly close to the water and it seems I am in a little microcosm. I seldom get snow and when I do it usually melts and doesn't accumulate. I have a number (+10) Amazon Lilies in pots in my house. They have bloomed for the last 4 years in October/November. No blooms this year but very crammed in one pot. Repotted in 10 pots. Can I plant one or two of these bulbs outside in the spring. I could mulch them over in the fall to protect them. Has any had any luck planting this bulb outside.
Amazon Lilies are tropical plants good for growing in pant hardiness zone 10 or better. You live in zone 9a, but since you have s0 many of them you could make an experiment and plant couple of them outside. They may survive if you will give them special protection.
