Dispite the frosty nights over the last few days, my Eucalyptus pauciflora ssp debeuzevllei is in bloom.
    Cheers, LPN.

Some gums in Seattle were quite profuse this year.

All of my Eucalyptus of flowering age flowered well this year also. "Flowering age" is an open ended term really. I have a small 3 foot E.nicholii that has flower buds and as well, a 15' E.urnigera that has set flower buds for the first time. I wonder what triggers their flowering at such different size and age? I have several of the same species that have either, not flowered, flowered intermittently or profusely.

    Cheers, LPN.

Hardiness of related gum seedlings also found to be highly variable.
