Wildflowers: Erythrina? ID Maasai Mara Kenya

    Are these photos of Erythrina? If so, what is the subspecies?

    They were photographed in June in the Maasai Mara in southwestern Kenya.

    Precise identification of native aloes from Kenya requires specialist knowledge -- but Aloe nyeriensis looks close.
