Hi, I just bought an Ephedra major and it is already growing leaves from some of the branches. However, only the top branches are showing growth. How to I promote growth of the bottom branches? The tip seems dry, should I prune a little the plant?

Who told you this was Ephedra major?

This is Euphorbia tirucalli, toxic to humans and dogs due to its caustic sap.

A high sun environment is required to keep this compact.
