I bought 4 little English Ivy plants from a store a couple of months ago. They were all dying and on sale so that's why I bought them.

Anyway, one out of the four is almost a goner, if not already. The leaves are drooping, most of them are brown and crunchy. Do you think if I cut it down to the base, it would grow back healthy??

Grown as an indoors or outdoors plant?

It's likely it won't survive if it is already brown and crispy. I suppose it might depend on how large the plant is, but you mentioned little - which suggests to me there isn't enough of the below-ground plant for it to revive.

You could certainly try cutting it back...inside /outside would make a difference...they will almost never survive inside because of spider mites. I am in the process of trying to get RID of it all over my property.

I'm growing them indoors. I was going to keep them in the kitchen. I just figured since they're so invasive and hardy outdoors that they could take a beating and pretty much not die. lol

I'll cut them back and see what happens.

    Thank you!!!
