I did some searching and did not find a lot about the empress dwarf peach tree in the Pacific Northwest specifically the Vancouver area. Most people in Vancouver have frost peach trees. Any one in Vancouver want to share their experience with the empress variety and pictures of your tree if you have any. I'm thinking about growing in a pot against my south wall of the house. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm growing two in pots: the flavour is better than Frost (which is not saying much), and they are productive--too productive, as they tend to blossom heavily along each branch, requiring thinning of the fruit. Susceptible to leaf curl, but easily addressed as they are in pots and can be moved.
