I have a fairly large dumbcane plant that I'm very happy with. Yesterday, while sliding it across the floor to a new spot, the main branch with 2 other limbs branching off broke right below the soil. It does have root attached where it broke off but I'm not sure if it will live if I just transfer it to a new pot with new soil. Please help, I don't know what to do and I love this plant.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the advice Marn. I replanted it in another pot because the main root/stem was still in the original pot. Do you think a plant will grow from the original stem where it broke off?
