Hello I'm trying to increase the growth of my Emerald cedars, can anyone recommend a fertilizer. Thank you
a general purpose evergreen and hedge food should suffice. To be most accurate have a soil test done to analyse the minerals in your soil, then augment as necessary.
Nutrient deficiency only one possible influence on growth rate. As indicated, must identify which nutrient might be deficient - if that is even the problem - and apply that particular one or ones at right rate to see an improvement. And if the problem is instead that they are drying out in the summer, or the soil it too wet in winter, or...then fertilizing won't be the answer.
Yes: without knowing the mineral content of your soil there is no way to know if either of these would be useful to you at this time. http://www.puyallup.wsu.edu/~Linda Chalker-Scott/Horticultural Myths_files/Myths/Bonemeal.pdf
