I am having trouble with my eggplants. They are blooming, and when one flower tries to produce a plant, the flower turns yellow and falls to the ground. What can cause this?

Hi. I have 2 3' tall dusky var. eggplants producing tons of fruits. However, 2 months ago I was having the same problem.. Flowers just falling off after yellowing. I wish I knew, but it could be lack of pollination. This time of year, mid Aug. though, I would think your flowers would start to produce fruits.. Any flowers with bees in the nearby vicinity? (10' or so)
