Wildflowers: Ecuadorian jungle vine

    From Mindo, elevation 1800 meters. I'm guessing it's a native; my friend says she brought it back from "up the mountain" and that it didn't survive in any lower-humidity areas (which is why she didn't give me a cutting - at 25% humidity on a good day, it would have shrivelled up to nothing.)

    Any clues?

    Looks like Thunbergia mysorensis.
