Hello! I inherited this leggy houseplant in a too-small pot from a neighbor. I know it's a totally common plant, although I can't name it... can anyone advise as to what it is, what it needs, and how to address it's current condition? The tallest part of the plant hasn't a single leaf below 5 feet and I wonder if we could cut it back- would it begin to leaf again at the stump? or will I just kill the plant? Also, when I re-pot the poor thing, I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to try to separate the couple of new shoots that are growing and put them in their own containers... any help is much appreciated, thanks tons!
