ok, recently using a wormery and today i noticed a dead worm or two - looked like they were eaten.. saw a possible culprit in there - an earwig - subsequently removed. I know that earwigs can eat other insects - but a tiger worm? Any opinions? Hate if a worm was killed on my watch!

I've seen ground-beetle larvae eating earthworms. Earwigs can be pretty ferocious too. They show up on both good-bug and bad-bug lists: good, because they eat other insects/critters and bad because they nibble petals and leaves.
