In spring time, we planted a yellow bird magnolia. There were no problems until a few weeks ago, when the new leaves began to turn yellow, followed by a brownish colour. In addition, the leaves seem to have a 'burned' texture to them. I added manure not long ago; perhaps this could be the cause of the problem? What should I do to go about preventing the leaves from turning brown? Maybe some insects could be causing this? Thanks
