Actually, it's not just our avocado trees, it's also a "bean tree" (sorry, don't know the name, that's just the local common Panamanian reference). I thought maybe the leaves had just fallen off, but the tree is clearly dead. All three dead trees are in the same vicinity. The plants around them are healthy. And for now, the other avocado trees (on the other side of the hill) are doing okay. Any clues on what kills avocado trees and how to prevent it? Both trees had matured a few years ago, and produced fruit for about three (with a phenomenal bountiful harvest last year). Thanks!
Post pics, please! You may be suffering from one of the Avocado viruses, which also sometimes affect the "bean trees" - also if you post a pic I'll be able to tell you what kind of bean-tree you've got.
