Hello everybody, this is our first post! Our Aloe Arborescens is dying and we do not know why. We keep it in house, near to the window and water it once every week. Any help appreciated! Thank you!
Welcome to the forums. The soil seems quite dry. If a medium is allowed to become overly dry it becomes hydrophobic and difficult to rehydrate. Is is possible that when you irrigate, the water is simply running through the cracks in the soil or draining away along the sides without it being absorbed? Also, the leaf surface seem rather dusty. Have a closer look to make sure it isn't the work of spider mites.

I wondered if it was overwatered to the extent that the roots have now rotted away. Or maybe something ate the roots? I'm not being helpful here - I don't know what to do now, but it doesn't seem beyond hope. Is there a hole in the bottom of the pot? If not, either make one, or change pots. I guess I would feel how heavy it is now when the soil is dry. Soak the soil in the pot (without the plant) in slightly warm water for half an hour or so, then let it drain, make sure the soil is wet all the way through, and feel how heavy that is. Or maybe do all this with brand new soil that is formulated for succulents. Put the plant in, and don't water again until the pot is a lot lighter, but not as light as when there was no water. It shouldn't be a regular watering every two weeks whether it needs it or not. I wonder too if it's a little cold for it next to the window. How old is this plant?

We have took some pictures after we washed the roots: The plant comes from a bigger one and has been cut from her in April.
