dying Alexander Palm | Help is highly appreciated !

    Hi, I got an Alexander palm...it was healthy and green (foliage, stem and crown).

    today i observed some browning on its one frond.

    thinking that it may be some fungus which can spread to other parts, i cut it ... but i saw that frond was brown and mushy from inside as well. pictures are attached.

    no pests or any mould could be seen.

    any idea what should i do.
