    Hello everyone,

I'm interested in growing dwarfing citrus trees inside my home (with perhaps outdoor excursions in the summer?) in the Toronto area.

Could someone recommend a nursery in the Toronto area that carries dwarfing meyer lemon trees?

Also, I'd like to try a grapefruit as well. My web searching has suggested that the oro blanco variety can tolerate colder temperatures. Does any grower produce a dwarfing variety of this, and if so, where should I look to acquire one?

    Thank you.

There have been past postings citing sources for citrus around Toronto. They can be retrieved using the forums' search function.

Oroblanco is probably the best grapefruit/hybrid for producing a sweet fruit in a lower heat environment. It's not commonly available in my area but I have seen it on occasion. I believe they were imported from a company in the U.S. For a Canadian source, you may want to check with Fruit Trees and More and Tiny Tom's Tangerine Farm.
