I have a golden locust and love it. I want another, but the space I want to put it in is too small (and has the power/cable/telephone line coming into the house right above the spot. I have googled dwarf Golden locust and no luck..any ideas?...or suggestions for a similarly colored small tree? I see that a full moon maple would be gorgeous, however the spot does get some direct sun mid- day sun (until the giant sumac grows anther arm and I have full shade again) Our soil is basically clay, but I could plant in a barrel if necessary.
