We acquired a tree with this tag and my internet searches have revealed no results. This tree is in sad shape..the main branch coming out from the trunk is broken. The side or "half" of the branch that is broken has smaller branches with no leaves and appear to be brittle/dead. The unbroken side has smaller branches but with abundant foliage. All the outer branches have foliage as well. My husband and I have planted in in full sun, rich soil but do not know what to do with it beyond that. I cannot say for sure that it will live, I don't know if we should somehow try and mend/wrap the broken portion, cut it off or let it be. I live just West of Houston, Texas and I have no idea when, if and how much to prune or how to care for it. I don't want to assume that caring for all peach trees are the same and hoped someone on this board might be of assistance. I can post a picture somewhere if you want to see the tree and the break.
