We have one of these plants and it is getting poorly, well actually we have 2 and one is fine and the other not. the one that is fine sits near a window (with a breeze coming through) it is watered the same as the other with the same water and it is in the same pot etc the room its in is a bedroon so not hugely used but no more than the living room where the one that is dying is. this sits in the corner in the shadow a bit but not much. it is going brown on the ends of its leaves and starting to droop a bit. the pot is behind 2 sofas so the soil isn't near the light. not sure what to do any tips or if anyone needs more info to help please let me know. should we cut the dead leaves off? thank you for any help you can give to our little plant who is very very poorly!
Too wet, or too dry? If the soil is always kept soggy, then the former; if it is powdery-dry most of the time, then water it more often. Aim for a happy balance where the soil is damp but not really wet, and let it get fairly dry between waterings but not bone dry.
