I am looking for an evergreen vine that will cover a 4ft chain link fence relatively quickly. It must be non-toxic to dogs, however, which is where I tend to draw a blank. Even in the local nurseries, most of the employees can't tell me if the vines are dog safe or not. The are gets partial sunlight, about 4 hours I would guess.

    Any suggestions?

    Crossvine (Bignonia capreolata).

Wow! thanks... those are gorgeous! exactly what I was looking for, so far have scoured the internet and haven't found them on any "toxic to dogs" lists so now all I have to do is find somewhere that sells seeds...

This is typically propagated from cuttings. IE seed is seldom available and if
you want any of the named selections you'll need vegetively propagated
plants. Try Home Depot or the like.
