    Hundreds of tiny flowers in each full-sized plume. Commonly sold and planted as annual bedding centerpiece, some here tagged "Spikes Dracaena." Zone 9 item often retaining tops for some years here in Zone 8, freezing back to roots periodically but re-sprouting. Planted so frequently as to serve as microclimate indicator plant, able to keep tops and grow large in banana belt areas.
