Does anyone know what plant this is?

    First I thought it was a Hosta then I thought it was a Gunnera but it doesn't seem to fit either plant...here is a picture

    Whatever you do please don’t call it a weed as it’s my favorite plant in the garden. It seems to be almost alive :-)
